A network is a great way to become more productive with your computers, and reduce the hassle involved in using them. You will be able to
connect to the internet from any computer, to open any file on any computer, and even though you have one printer, any computer can use it.
Services we perform include:
- Hardware Installation - This includes connecting a router to your high-speed modem, and installing any
necessary NIC or wireless cards to your computers.
- Configure the router - This is where the network is encrypted, so noone can steal your signal.
128 bit WEP encryption is set, a Service Set Identifier (SSID) is provided, and the default username and password on the
router's web interface is changed.
- Enable File and Printer Sharing - Install necessary printer drivers on all computers, and set up all computers
to be part of the same workgroup.
- Testing - Ensure all computers on the network can access the internet, print to a central printer , and share files.
