0002: UNINSTALLING (REMOVING) A PROGRAM IN WINDOWS XP

PROBLEM

  This article describes how to use the Add or Remove Programs feature to remove a program that is installed on your computer.

RESOLUTION

1.    Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add or Remove Programs.
2.    In the "Currently installed programs" box, click the program that you want to remove, and then click the Remove button.
3.    At this point, you may see a box prompting you for conformation of removal of the program. Click the OK or Yes button.
4.    If you see any more boxes, read them carefully, and provide an appropriate response. At this point, no technical expertise is needed.
