More Information
What are temporary internet files. What use do they serve?
Temporary Internet Files are actually pages you view on the internet, that store themselves on your computer. The reason these temporary internet files exist is to let you view web pages faster. Here's how it works: you visit a web page, and it stores some temporary internet files on your computer. The next time you return to this page, Internet Explorer downloads only the content that has changed since you last visited the site - it doesn't have to download the whole page over again.
