You need to view files that have their hidden attribute checked, so they are invisible during normal naviagation around your hard drive.
1. Right click your mouse once on the word start in the lower left corner of the screen.
2. A menu will pop-up, click on Explore .
3. A dialog box titled "Start Menu" will appear. Click the word Tools.
4. Click on the words Folder Options...
5. A dialog box titled "Folder Options" will appear. Click on the View tab.
6. You will see Hidden Files and Folders and there will be 2 options underneath it.
7. Click on the option that says Show hidden files and folders.
8. Click the Apply button, then click the OK button.
9. Close out of the ""Start Menu" dialog box, and you're done.
